Problems on Speed, Time and Distance.

Here is our first posting for February. We are using captured real time data. We know the index no., the date, time to the hour, minute and second. We know the altitude. Most important we know the distance of each leg in the route. We also now the time taken to travel each leg. With these two very valuable pieces of information we will now calculate the speed per hour across each leg. We have been studying Time, Speed and Distance in our Maths class since we came back to school. Now we will apply those skills to work out and solve the real time problems in above chart.

Remember

SPEED = DISTANCE/TIME

DISTANCE = TIME X SPEED

TIME = DISTANCE/SPEED

So start calculating !!!!!!!!!

  1. Here we captured a list of detales of our roots on a GPS it shows the time,altitude,leg length and the leg time on the roots that has been saved to the GPS system
